Trivia

Virginia Madsen and Mr. Von Dohlen previously appeared together in Electric Dreams.

Photographer Rebecca Bishop (Virginia Madsen) holds a session with a charming client (Lenny Von Dohlen). Her girlfriend pressures her to pursue him, but Rebecca doesn't listen.

Later, while talking with another friend, Brooks (Erich Anderson), Rebecca confesses she wants a divorce. She and her husband, Drew (Jim Metzler), have been having problems even before his affair. She says there is nothing worth fighting for.

Rebecca reencounters the client after they are involved in an automobile accident. She meets him for dinner and they spend the night together. When Rebecca wakes, she learns that the client lied to her about his identity. He is really Jonathan Brinkman, and he tells Rebecca that her husband hired him to kill her.

When Rebecca tells Drew that she knows he hired someone to kill her. Her husband brushes it off, saying that Brinkman is just trying to manipulate her. Drew has written a book about many of the cases on which he's worked. Brinkman is one of them and, he claims, not a hitman.

Rebecca encounters Jonathan at a party for the release of Drew's book, and what he says causes her to doubt her husband. She doesn't know whom she should trust or where to turn. Fearing for her life, she turns to one of the men, but should she trust him?
