All information on this page is derived from Mr. Von Dohlen's current and past IMDb page, Newspapers.com, resumes, The Fans of Lenny Von Dohlen Facebook Page, and the now non-existent The Lenny Von Dohlen Fan Page.
If anyone can provide further information on any of the titles listed on this page, please contact me.

Films

Though Mr. Von Dohlen may not have appeared in the following films, they were at one time listed on IMDb or The Unofficial Lenny Von Dohlen Fan Page. Mr. Von Dohlen was known to converse with the admin of the former site.
  • Art Lover (2003)
  • Strangers When We Meet (2005)
  • Clean Me (Unknown)

This project may never have been completed. It was said to have been directed by Paul Chart and starred Robert Forrester, Steve Valentine, Bruce Davison, and Inna Korobkina. Mr. Von Dohlen's character was listed as Danny B.

Though I cannot find an image now, there was once a poster featuring a green bar of soap on IMDb.

Steve Valentine posted the following Tweet in 2012 with a link to the IMDb page. "Here's info on an upcoming project.... It's a bit scary and maybe a tad raunchy... Maybe."

  • Nat Turner: A Story of a Prophet (2014)

The film title later changed to Birth of a Nation. I have watched the film and cannot find Mr. Von Dohlen. His role may have been recast or his scenes deleted.

  • Great Sex (2000)

This title appears on the filmography menu for One Good Turn and was mentioned on The Lenny Von Dohlen Unofficial Fanpage. I asked actor Chris Sarandon, who was said to co-star, about the film, and he said it was never filmed. Paul Chart was said to direct with Fairuza Balk, Robert Forester, Amanda Plummer and David Thewlis slated to star.

TV
  • Cocaine Cowboys/Untitled Miami Project, Pilot (2015)
Mr. Von Dohlen's resume from Sneak Preview Entertainment includes a 59 second video from this project. The description states, "1970's Miami Period Piece directed by Mark Pellington set in the world of Miami cocaine trafficking." A photo from the production is also included on the site without caption.

  • J.A.E: Rise of an Exile (Unknown)

Around 2010 or '11, Mark Hamill was stated to star and direct in what was once meant to be a sci-fi film trilogy. Naveen Andrews, Claudia Christian, Fann Wong and James Holloway were listed as co-stars.

    Article 1 - The Robot's Voice

Article 2 - Live for Films

    Article 3 - QuietEarth

Thankfully, Emma from Fans of Lenny Von Dohlen took a screencapture of Mr. Von Dohlen's IMDb page at the time. Apparently, by 2015, the idea for a film trilogy was abandoned in favor of a TV series.

At least one trailer was released for an early idea of the film, to my knowledge, but Mr. Von Dohlen's name does not appear in the credits. I remember waiting for more news concerning this project only to see the listing disappear from Mr. Von Dohlen's IMDb page.

I have re-uploaded the trailer that was once available on YouTube. I will remove it upon request. It is shared for archival purposes only.

Electric Dreams Q&A at the Frida Cinema September 17th, 2019

A Q&A was recorded, but has yet to be released. It was said to have been made for a Criterion release. Mr. Von Dohlen mentioned Electric Dreams being released by the Criterion Collection when he spoke to Terry and Tiffany DuFoe on their radio show in 2022, but it has yet to see the light of day. The film was part of their July 2023 scheduling on the Criterion Channel.

A Q&A was held for the film Tollbooth on the same day as Electric Dreams. Sadly, it was not officially recorded. If anyone who attended the Tollbooth screening has any audio or footage they'd be willing to share, please contact me.
