Johnny, an American reporter (Lenny Von Dohlen), and Nikolai (Boyan Milushev) befriend one another in jail. Their incarceration is connected to a crime lord named Griffith (Richard Chamberlain), whom they vow to kill upon release. Griffith is responsible for the death of Nikolai’s father.
Once freed, the pair delve into their plans. With the aid of Griffith's chauffeur, Johnny and Nikolai attend a party where Nikolai sets his sights on Griffith's daughter, Kily (Jennifer Tilly). He intends to use her in his revenge. Griffith’s girlfriend, Carla (Lesley Ann Warren), performs at Griffith’s parties, which Johnny and Nikolai manage to attend undetected.

Nikolai wastes no time in his seduction, acting as Kily’s “impromptu” guide through the city. He plays the role of a charming stranger and gains the unknowing Kily’s trust. After doing so, Nikolae and Johnny enact chaos upon Griffith and his men.
