The description as found on the VHS box, "Frontline tells the story of a group of World War I soldiers at the close of the conflict in 1918. A small band of German soldiers has been separated from their regiment and are wandering aimlessly through the battered countryside. Along with the group is Robert, an American prisoner of war, and Ludwig, a wounded German flyer. Led by the ruthless Captain Mueller, they soon stumble upon a tiny village where the wounded are tended to by the village leader and his beautiful daughter, Catherine. Under the cover of night, Robert escapes, taking Catherine and Ludwig with him. The Captain and his men pursue the trio and finally catch up with them, resulting in the final, bloody showdown."

The Unofficial Lenny Von Dohlen Fan Page shared a link with a synopsis of the film.

Streaming Availability

Frontline is not streaming online. It is rare and difficult to obtain in physical form. My copy was purchased overseas before the current tariff nightmare - and at that time I could find only one seller willing to ship to the US.
