Trivia
Also known as World's End in the U.S.

In an apocalyptic existence with little food or resources, a young man named Wesley (Jonathan Trent) survives by his strength and cunning. His beloved dog Lugosi is always at his side.

While visiting a "city" Wesley finds a woman named Sara (Elizabeth Roberts). In a world where women are a rarity, Sara claims she no longer wishes to live due to the way she is treated by the male populace.

Wesley, proving that he is no different from the other men in Sara's life, tries to trade Sara for resources, but finds that she is already the "property" of the man with whom he is trying to barter. The man, Tobias, lives like a king while others starve.

Upset that his plan wasn't fruitful, Wesley returns to rob Tobia's store room. He finds a room of human corpses and realizes they're stored as food. Wesley returns to rescue Sara.

The pair drives through the desert until they come upon a camp. Wesley knows the men there are religious and celibate before asking for refuge for the night. Elder Daniel (Lenny Von Dohlen) allows them to enter. One of the men, Edward (Billy Drago), states they are living through the end times, and dislikes Wesley bringing Sara into the camp, as he sees her as evil. Edward also incorrectly predicts that Sara and Wesley will unite, but it will be an unholy union. Sara is touched by Wesley's kindness to her, but that does not stop her from escaping the camp while he sleeps.

While Wesley searches for Sara, Tobias visits the camp. When Edward begins to share what he knows of Sara and Wesley, he is silenced by Elder Daniel, which costs Daniel his life. Tobias and his men slaughter the entire camp, aside from Edward.

On Wesley and Sara's quest to visit Plutopia, an almost mythical place they've only read about in a brochure, they face many hardships. Will they pay the ultimate price?
